Conference on the biology of aging
From 17-20 June 2014 Center for Healthy Aging hosted an international conference on Genome Dynamics in Neuroscience and Aging for leading international aging scientists in Elsinor, Denmark.
The conference was hosted by Center for Healthy Aging within the framework of the International Alliance of Research Universities, and it represented different aspects of the biology of aging. The conference sought to let scientists from the International Alliance of Research Universities and others share and present their work.
Genome Dynamics in Neuroscience and Aging took place from 17 to 20 of June 2014 in Elsinor. The conference was primarily targeted at scientists and clinicians interested in genomic stability, mitochondrial function and neural development and degeneration.
Several subthemes was presented and discussed. These include Epigenetics and neurodegeneration, Genome dynamics in the development of the nervous system and Genome dynamics in aging and senescence.
