Healthy Aging UK > Collaboration
The Center for Healthy Aging has a central position in international collaboration in a field that is attracting increasing global interest. The global focus on aging research is increasing – with good reason. As individuals are living considerably longer, the frequency of age-related diseases such as cancer, neurodegenerative conditions and cardiovascular diseases is also rising.
This has major societal consequences and strengthens the demand for research-based knowledge on how to prevent diseases and improve quality of life in old age. The Center for Healthy Aging aims to play a central role both in the national and international aging research – with high-profile initiatives, collaboration and networks worldwide.
